Kenneth Nkusi

Managing Director

Kenneth Nkusi is a registered architect in the Rwandan institute of architects (RIA) and the East African institute of architects (EIA). He holds a 6-year working experience in designing and managing construction works. After his graduation, Kenneth worked under the mentorship of Bruce Engel during his service for Sharon Davis Design for approximately two years. His time at Sharon Davis Design, he worked on a variety of projects including international award winning projects like Partners of Health Dormitories and Women Opportunity Center, both located in the Eastern province of Rwanda.

In 2016, he started freelancing. Since then, he has worked on a variety of projects, such as housing projects and Early Childhood Development Centers. One of his major achievements as a freelancer is to have designed an Early Childhood Center in Kimironko neighborhood in Kigali, and in the process, to have helped to transform an area suffering from drug addiction and theft crimes into an eco-friendly space where children can play safely. On this project, Kenneth worked in collaboration with Children play Rwanda to design and built playground from recycled materials: Web link (ECD project) Kenneth has a Bachelor degree in Architecture from University of Rwanda, College of Technology, School of Architecture in Kigali City. After his university studies, he has reinforced his skills in architecture, design and project management by pursuing a leadership experience with Young African Leaders initiative in the program of Mandela Washington where he was awarded a certificate of leadership after he had completed his studies at University of New Mexico.
